We design products to make 3D printing more sustainable.
Let’s stop wasting plastic!
Plastic pollution is a problem all over the world and every type of ecosystem has been affected by it. We, as a company that works with plastics, wanted to make a contribution in the disposal and recycling of these materials.
One of our goals is to reduce waste and the impact that plastic has on the environment, giving a second life to the materials
Thanks to the Felfil system you can shred plastic wastes, extrude them and produce a new filament that you will need to create new objects.

At the heart of our mission is a concrete commitment to sustainability. We believe that innovation and environmental responsibility must go hand in hand. For this reason, our products for recycling plastic are designed to reduce environmental impact and promote a circular economy, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

Each component of our products is replaceable, this means less wastes, easy reparability and lower LCA impact.
we invest in research to develop increasingly eco-sustainable solutions and promote them to schools and institutions.

As 3D printer users we know how often 3D printers fail and how many plastic we throw away. Moreover the plastic we use everyday can’t become a waste such rapidly. For these reasons we decided, a few years ago, to develop our plastic recycling system.
Felfil System is composed by three machines: Felfil Shredder a compact plastic shredder, Evo the extruder and Felfil Spooler which is a winder. In this way anyone can create filament for its 3D printers using recycled material.

Our idea was born from a university project, developed at the Polytechnic of Turin.
Now Felfil is a small Italian company, but the goals remain the same as when we started this journey: to make 3D printing a more sustainable process, minimizing waste, without giving up on experimenting with plastic materials.
Each product is hand-assembled and our philosophy is characterised by care and attention to the details. Every piece, from the smallest to the most complex, is welded, tested and packed by us.

Thanks to Up2Circ call, we were able to develop a rental plan for our recycling machines. The goal of our project is to reduce plastic pollution, allowing to recycle 3D printing waste for as many users as possible. So, we developed a rental-based circular model, allowing makers to basically use our product for only a few weeks, reducing their initial investment.
This should allow us to create an even more sustainable business, since the LCA of each machine will be improved and CO2 for production reduced of about 90%.

We try to reduce the impact of transportation CO2 using Carbon Neutral shipping

The cardboard used for our packaging is FSC certified

We do take very seriously reparability. Indeed all the components of our machines are replaceable!
